I’m super grateful to the internet and to advances in technology because years ago, this would have not been possible. I’ve always known that I would be drawn to things related to computers and internet because I was very passionate about it when I was younger and now I know why. God already prepared me for this career years ago. I always knew it.

It is incredible how not using my phone for three days gave me so much rest and peace. I know that it is important to always be there for your clients, but they also have to understand that we need time off. I always send them a message when I am going to be out of the office, and I leave an automatic message in my email in case someone tries to contact me.

I’m a 34 year old mum of two (3 and 5) and I live in Twickenham, South West London. I am currently studying Social Media Management with the view to carve a new career for myself enabling me to work more flexibly for my family.

I have a huge passion for anything creative: Sewing, drawing, typography, calligraphy, illustration and card making etc. Since being a mum, these have all been put to the back burner until recently when I have made much more of an effort to prioritise myself in the evenings when the kids are asleep. ‘Me’ time is so vitality important, not only to remember who you were before you became a parent but its so important for mental health and relaxation.
